The indoor lighting design for the Xirang Hotel at Wuxi Dayouqiu, a Silver Award winner of the 5th Magnolia Lighting Award, provides an excellent case study.

Moving beyond mere aesthetics, the design philosophy centers on "Light & Health" and "Light & Healing." Key highlights include:

✨ Smart, Unobtrusive Control: Guest rooms feature indirect lighting and voice-controlled modes, including a special "sleep mode" that gradually dims lights to aid relaxation and sleep, integrated with therapeutic instruments.

🌿 Adaptive Ambient Lighting: In the SPA zone, a dimmable system adjusts to match natural daylight levels, with a one-button "therapy mode" for a calmer atmosphere. The signature Salt Cave uses specially treated linear fixtures to gently highlight the Himalayan salt crystals, creating a softly glowing, immersive space.

🛤️ Safe & Subtle Pathways: Corridors employ low-wattage wall-washing techniques, using reflected light for safe yet subdued nighttime navigation.
